Terms of Service
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms cover the WhoopsBot website and the monitoring service. WhoopsBot is operated by Cristiano Gonzales (“we”). The service is the launch check, saved flows, screenshots, email-arrival checks, and the emails we send about them.
Using the service
You must be able to form a contract. Don't use WhoopsBot to probe sites you don't own or don't have permission to test. The launch check only loads a page and reads public responses. Scheduled flows will click and type what you tell them to. You are responsible for those steps, including any test account they create.
We can refuse a URL that points at a private network, and we rate-limit launch checks. Don't try to get around that limit, and don't send attack traffic through the checker.
Accounts and plans
Free includes one flow checked once a day, with results in the dashboard. Starter is $19 per month: five flows, checks about every six hours, email-arrival checks, an email when a flow starts failing, and a weekly report. Pro is $49 per month: twenty flows, hourly checks, email-arrival checks, an email on every failed check, and a weekly report. If you downgrade or a subscription is canceled, flows over the new limit are paused, oldest first. We don't delete them.
Payment
Paid plans are billed by Paddle, who is the merchant of record. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment itself. We turn a plan on or off when Paddle tells us, via a signed webhook, that the subscription changed. A success page by itself is not the record.
The reports
A check is a point-in-time look at a public page or a scripted path. It can miss bugs, and it can flag something that is fine in your setup (for example a Google API key that you have already restricted). You decide what to ship. Fix prompts are drafts for you to paste into your own coding tool. Review them before you run them.
Acceptable use and availability
Don't use the service to store or transmit malware, to harass anyone, or to break the law. We may suspend an account that does. The service can be interrupted for deploys, provider outages, or a browser that fails to start. Checks that don't finish are marked failed or errored in the dashboard.
Ending the contract
You can cancel a paid plan in Paddle or by emailing us, and you can delete your account from the billing page. Cancellation stops future charges. Access to a paid plan continues until Paddle marks the subscription canceled. Deleting the account removes your sites, flows, runs, and screenshots from our database. It does not by itself refund a charge. See the refund policy.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. We don't promise that a check will catch every outage or that a fix prompt will be correct. To the extent the law allows, our liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for WhoopsBot in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Guatemala, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute cannot be solved by email, the courts of Guatemala City are the venue we expect, except where a consumer protection law where you live says otherwise.
